Rally 2 Recovery is a 40-mile motorcycle ride to raise awareness about opioid addiction.

This year’s first annual rally on August 13, 2016, toured through parts of central Massachusetts that have been particularly hit hard by the current opioid abuse epidemic.

Rally 2 Recovery’s mission is to help raise awareness about opioid addiction and help Learn 2 Cope raise money for outreach through its education and support groups.

Rally 2 Recovery needs your help! Making next year’s rally a success requires that we raise funds for logistics; public relations, insurance, and police details.

All money raised for the rally will go directly to this project and to Learn 2 Cope.

All Donations and Registrations are fully tax deductible.

Her search for sugar has led her to be successful dessert bar owner and entrepreneur, Food Network cooking show Chopped and Cupcake Wars competitor and Sweet Genius winner.

DA Early-Seal

Joseph D. Early, Jr., Worcester County District Attorney

I am proud to serve you as Worcester County District Attorney, and I am dedicated to our office’s twin missions – seeking justice through tough and fair prosecutions, and preventing crime with a variety of community-based outreach programs. Both goals are equally important.

Our staff of assistant district attorneys, victim-witness advocates, State Police investigators and others is committed to serving the people of Worcester County and keeping our communities safe and secure.

We feel that we can better serve our citizens by preventing a crime rather than prosecuting one, which is why we devote much of our resources to progressive community outreach programs. We know that early intervention is also critical, so we assign our best and brightest attorneys to Worcester Juvenile Court where they work with Probation and the court to help young defendants find better solutions to their problems. Our decisions affect the lives of victims, defendants and the public and we are mindful of our responsibilities to the communities we serve. We fight tirelessly for victims of crime, providing them with the services they need with a team of compassionate victim-witness advocates.

 Opioid Task Force:  http://worcesterda.com/resources/opiod-task-force/

The Central Massachusetts Opioid Task Force was formed by Worcester District Attorney Joseph D. Early, Jr. to bring together government leaders, law enforcement, health-care professionals, educators, substance-abuse experts, families in need of addiction services and community members to respond to the growing problems of opioid addiction and overdose deaths.

Our mission is to work together to help reduce opioid and heroin addiction and prevent overdose deaths in Central Massachusetts.

Key Task Force goals are to prevent overdose deaths; to ensure that addiction is treated as a disease and get help and treatment for those addicted; to raise awareness of the growing opioid and heroin problem; and to support investigations and prosecution of opiate and opioid-related crimes.

As the chief law enforcement officer of Worcester County, I am humbled by the trust you have put in me and honored to fulfill the responsibility of keeping our communities safe.
